Process
The existing elevated tower storage header tank was old and leaking and in poor condition overall, with the construction of the new pressure booster pump station enabled consistent pressure delivery of potable drinking water to the township of Yea.
After a period of proof of performance the old elevated tower was demolished and removed from site.
The new booster pump station was built along side the existing old elevated storage tank (providing adequate pressure to the old supply)
The new pump station was run /tested independently of the old tank and then seamlessly cut over to the town supply pipe line.
SCOPE OF WORK
Design, Construction and the installation of a new booster pump station to deliver treated drinking water to the Yea township and surrounding areas
Design, Construction and installation of new switchboard, control cubicle and generator
Modification of existing main switchboard to allow for installation of an Automatic Transfer Switch + Associated electrical and instrumentation
Integration of new control to existing old PLC controller
All work completed in accordance with all applicable regulations, Wiring Rules, Victorian Service and Installation Rules, other Australian Standards and Goulburn Valley Water specifications and requirements
