LANCE CREEK WATER TRANSFER STATION 

CLIENT:  Simpson Construction - South Gippsland Water

PROCESS:

The Lance Creek Water Transfer Station project, transfers potable water from the Lance Creek Reservoir and Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to the existing Korumburra and Poowong Water Treatment Plants sites. Supplementary supply of potable water was made available from the Melbourne Water Supply Grid. Upon completion the project provides the water supply to the townships of Korumburra, Poowong, Loch & Nyora.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Switchboard Design and Construct, overall electrical installation including Wiring Commissioning and Software completed in accordance with all applicable regulations, Wiring Rules, Victorian Service and Installation Rules, other Australian Standards.

SEPARABLE PORTION NO. 1

​Supply of all materials, equipment, plant and labour necessary to automate valve control at SGW’s Delivery Point 5 (DP5) including SCADA communications and dedicated power supply via connection to SGW’s existing Sewage Pumping Station. Installation and integration of new chemical dosing facilities and associated works at Lance Creek Water Treatment Plant. Testing, commissioning and performance proving.

SEPARABLE PORTION NO. 2

Supply of all materials, equipment, plant and labour necessary to construct a new water pumping station at Lance Creek Water Treatment Plant, a new water pumping station and chemical dosing facilities at Korumburra Water Treatment Plant, reconfigure the chemical dosing facilities at  the Poowong Water Treatment Plant and all associated interconnecting pipework and controls. Testing, commissioning and performance proving of the overall completed network
